Les Paul Standard
Upgrading to a Epiphone Les Paul Standard, Studio, Schecter Omen 6, Fender Squier Strat?
I have a Les Paul Special 2 and I think it’s time for an upgrade. Which one should I get?
I’m sort of a beginner, So I’m not really sure what genre of music I want to play. The songs I mostly play are from Rise Against and Blink 182.
Schecters are usually used for different types of metal music. For bands like Blink 182 and Rise Against I would say get another Les Paul. Standard and Studios really don’t have much difference between them (except maybe the price?) I had a Zakk Wylde Les Paul before it was awesome! you could play any type of music on it, and thats true for all Les Pauls. But I don’t like how heavy the are. I prefer a Gibson V over any guitar anyday. If you don’t have a problem with the weight of the Les Paul get another one of those. Whichever is cheaper considering they’re both amazing and there’s very little difference between them. Fender’s are just shitty unless you get the really super expensive American made ones. They’re pretty good with a versatile amp. Les Paul is still the way to go bro.
