For Guitar Gear Heads, OK, I Have A Choice Between 2 Guitars?
Ok For All you Guitar Gear Heads Out There I Am Looking To Get A New Guitar. And I Have A Choice Between Two Of Them. I Have A Choice Between An Epiphone Explorer, And A Shecter C-1. They Cost About The Same And I Like Them Both But I Need Help On Decideing. The Explorer Has Alot Of Comfort For Me And It Looks Bad Ass. And The C-1 Has Bad Ass Tone, And It Also Looks Gnarly. Well I Just Need Help Deciding. And Remember I Am A Musician So I DOn’t Have Alot Of Money, And My Amp Is A Standard Solid State Marshall Amp, With About 150 Watts Of Power. I Play A Little Bit Of Blues And Rockabilly, And Rock, And Some Experimental Stuff,Metal, And Pretty Much Everything. So Let The Answers Come Unto Me.
personally I would go with the explorer for its playability and tone,, perhaps it will grow on you as to the “pretty” issue!
I Have a 50+ yr old Giannini/ a (125yr old) 1882 Jose Ramirez 1, And a 67 gretsh Tennessean ( the Chet Atkins ) * The dark one, not the orange copied one while they aren’t as pretty as a new computer assembly line made? try and get that tone from a new guitar at any price.. ain’t happening have you checked with SAM ash? and Musicians Friend? they have some great deals…
